My lineage did a really great job with doing the research and the sword that I got was amazing the price wasn’t bad either. They were working with me the whole way through the process and did a great good of keeping me up to date on how everything was going. the app is great to have too. I was a very happy customer and will more than likely be buying from them again.

I ordered the dual crest for my parents and they absolutely loved it! I was at fort Leonardwood for MOS training and they were so good with a payment plan I could afford. Genuinely bought the perfect gift for my parents.

I ordered two coat of arms and the history of two family names late 2020. I was walked through the process and what the company was by a representative who was very helpful and gave me the all the information in an easy understandable way; also he was juicy a delight to talk to all around. I gave this as a gift to my mother mid 2021, she loved it and has them displayed at home. 10/10 would check out other products as well.

They have an abundance of packages offering something for everyone from simple family histories to a coat of arms made in Spain from silk to weapons that your family’s ancestors wielded in battle. The staff are very professional and helpful. The staff member that I was in contact with throughout the order to fulfillment process would check in to make sure that their research was correct to the best of my knowledge as they traced my family’s roots. He also verified that my address hadn’t changed when it came time to ship the package I ordered from them.

I work on a lot of my families genealogy. I was rummaging through old family documents and found a paper that described my grand fathers Coat of arms but no picture. i brought it up to him once and he said he could never find an actual image of it but he always remembers what it stands for. A few years later I come across a “My lineage” Kiosk outside a local store after a little bit of explanation how they work i figured what the heck. So i asked them to look up my last name and my grand fathers last name. When the finished product came back it had a lot of the same information as the paper i had found and many of the same symbols and colors. I asked a local engraver to put the crest on some wine glasses for my grandfather and he was overjoyed and continues to use them for his dinner parties.

I met My Lineage in my PX while on deployment to Kuwait. My representative was very thorough on what to expect throughout the whole process, all the way from what the package that I bought contains, to approximately how long it’ll take the company to do all of the research and send it all to me. I haven’t gotten a chance to see it in person yet, as I’m still in Kuwait, but my family sent pics of it and I’m very very happy with what I see.

The Sword and 2 Banner Set includes your Family Heritage Sword, Two Family Coat of Arms Banners, two detailed framed and matted family surname histories of both family name’s and two full explanations of all the symbols and colors on both family coat of arms plus a mount to proudly display your family’s celebration of their warrior heritage.

During the medieval period, the sword was the most personal, prestigious, and versatile weapon for close combat. The heavy sword of medieval chivalry had a large hilt, with a large protective guard or pommel at the top. The blade was straight, double-edged, and pointed. It was fabricated through repeated firing and hammering, known as tempering. Toledo, Spain was a globally renowned center of the craft.

In the Middle Ages, arms were often displayed on fork-tailed pennons attached to lances. If the forked ends were cut away, the resulting flag was similar in shape to a small banner. It was a means of recognizing particularly valorous conduct, and a knight thus distinguished was known as a knight banneret. The banner bears its owner’s arms, mirroring a square shield. Today, most jurisdictions allow anyone possessing arms to carry a heraldic flag in that form.

Each Sword is certified and engraved with the stamp “Marto-Toledo” to signify that it was designed, developed, and manufactured in Toledo, Spain by recognized expert artists, craftsmen, and sword masters to bring you the very best quality heritage sword.

Beautifully and individually hand-stitched, our coat of arms banners are crafted using gold bullion thread and French silk on velvet. Our expert artists use a complete palette of threads to perfectly match the coloring of your family coat of arms.

We pride ourselves on authenticity down to the last detail. Our experts painstakingly execute every detail by hand to capture the genuine glory of your coat of arms. The result is a true one of a kind gift for yourself or for someone special.

Both banners are equipped with loops at the top corresponding to the sword width, perfectly matched for display.

As our historian’s research and gain insight into your family history, we will complete your set with a sword corresponding to your personal heritage.

With sets of this kind, it is customary to use the sword representing the male’s name as the means of display. Please enter the desired names and countries of origin in the boxes to clarify which heritage sword we should include in your package.

Each family name history includes your name’s country of origin, the meaning of your name, along with fascinating historical records.

All family histories are certified with a Seal of Authenticity.
